REHDA Melaka extends its sincere appreciation to Jabatan Perumahan Negara (JPN), Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), for the successful collaboration in organising the Briefing on Licensed Housing Developers’ Responsibilities: Compliance with the Housing Development Act (Act 118) at Dusit Princess Melaka.

The one-day briefing held on 2 July 2026 was attended by nearly 100 REHDA Melaka members, providing an excellent platform for developers of Melaka to gain valuable insights into the latest regulatory requirements and compliance obligations under Act 118.

The programme kicked off with an opening address by Mr Jeya Seelan A/L Subramaniam, Director of the Enforcement Division, National Housing Department, KPKT.

Participants benefited from informative presentations delivered by distinguished officers from the National Housing Department:

2. Pn Sazleen Yanti bt Zulkifli – Compliance with Section 7(e) of Act 118
3. Pn Ir. Norlinah bt Nawir – Compliance with Section 7(f) of Act 118
4. Pn Noratilawati bt Che Hussin – Compliance with Regulations 5, 6 & 7 of the Housing Development Regulations, including Advertisement and Registration of Interest Requirements
5. Pn Nor Hayati bt Malik – HIMS: Statement Recording Process
