A courtesy call was organized on Tuan Abdul Hakim Bin Hamzah, the newly appointed Director of Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran Melaka on 29 October 2018 at his office at Wisma Negeri, Melaka. The objective of the visit was to establish closer rapport and cooperation between REHDA Melaka and JPS Melaka while updating each other on the latest developments and to foster effective interaction.

Among the highlights of the discussion are:

1. Erosion and Sediment Control Plan approval
2. MSMA 2nd Edition
3. Kawasan lapang & On Site Detention (OSD)’s matter
4. Drainage and final discharge point’s requirement
5. Detailed drawing request during planning approval stage (Kebenaran Merancang)

Tuan Abdul Hakim commented all the matters highlighted are mainly based on JPS’s Policy.  However, he will consider to assist developers on their project development within his scope of works.
