On 23 September 2019, REHDA Melaka Branch Chairman Dato’ Sri Ngoh King Hua led a team of REHDA Melaka Committee Members & Branch Hon Advisors comprising Datuk Seri Gwee Yew Kiat, Mr Ngoh Chun How, Mr Tay Sin Wah, Mr Choon Kean Nang, Mr Yeow Hoh Thai, Mr Lau Soon Watt, Datuk Ir Neo Wee Siang, Ir Ooi Kah Huat, Ar CS Loo & Ar Tony Khoo paid a courtesy call on the Mayor of Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah (MBMB) Tn Hj Mansor Bin Sudin. The purpose of the visit was to foster closer rapport between REHDA Melaka and MBMB as well as to discuss on current industry issues faced by developers in Melaka.
Among the issues discussed include: –
• Requirement of Pre-Consult of One Stop Center
• Requirement of Soil Investigation (SI) Report, Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) Report & Road & Drainage (R & D) Plan during Planning Permission (KM) stage
• Requirement of Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) approval for building height
• Requirement of support letter for network facility
• Requirement of conversion premium’s payment receipt for Building Plan submission
• Procedural of earthwork approval
• Proposal to increase the density for high rise housing project, etc.
