On 20 January 2025, REHDA Melaka led by Branch Chairperson Datuk Ngoh Chun How conducted a courtesy visit to the CEO of Koridor Utiliti Melaka (KUM) Sdn Bhd, Tuan Ismael bin Hamdan at the KUM Office located in Menara MITC, Melaka.  The courtesy visit aimed to gain a better understanding of KUM’s roles and underground utility works application procedures.  

Encik Yeerudy Mohd Hairi, the COO of KUM presented on the permit application procedures for utility works by applicants.  He also elaborated on the main functions and roles of Koridor Utiliti Melaka (KUM), including its responsibilities in managing underground utilities works as main entry points for underground utility mapping applications. 

The meeting concluded with a proposal to organize an engagement cum briefing session for members of REHDA Melaka in the near future which aims to provide a platform for members to gain more insights into KUM’s operations and the procedural requirements for utility works.
