REHDA Melaka Committee Members and related Hon Advisors visited Majlis Perbandaran Hang Tuah Jaya on 18 January 2018 as to discuss and to understand better on the new green initiative imposed by MPHTJ with effective from 1 January 2018. The meeting was chaired by YDP Datuk Tpr. Hj. Murad Bin Hj Husin and attended by Jabatan Kawalan Bangunan, Jabatan Perancang Bandar, Jabatan Lanskap, Jabatan Kejuruteraan, Unit Pusat Setempat (OSC) & Unit Teknologi Hijau. YDP Datuk Tpr. Hj. Murad commented that MPHTJ welcomes consultants/developers to propose and apply any other method on building design that can help mitigate the effects of the urban heat island and helping Melaka state in becoming a sustainable low carbon city.
