The TNB Townhall Smart Strategic Business Partnership, a dynamic collaboration between TNB, REHDA Melaka, and Pemaju Negeri Melaka, was successfully hosted by TNB on 2 July 2025 at the AMES Hotel, Ayer Keroh Melaka.  Over 60 members, including developers, consultants, and energy experts, gathered to explore cutting-edge solutions for Melaka’s property sector.

Key takeaways included:

Solar Energy Advancements:

• Mr Ghugaan Mani, Technical Sales & Marketing Executive of the Business Division at GSPARX Sdn Bhd, unveiled solar offerings for developers, including the Community Renewable Energy Aggregation Mechanism (CREAM), paving the way for cost-effective green energy adoption.
• Mr. Francis Sia, Executive Director of Teladan Setia Sdn Bhd, shared pioneering experiences on Melaka’s first solar-powered homes, inspiring sustainable urban development.

Digital Transformation:

• En Abdul Ghafar bin Othman, Team Member (Digital Platforms) of TNB’s Retail Division, discussed TNB’s myTNB and myTNB Home Digital Platforms, which serve as streamlined energy management tools for consumers.

Streamlined Supply Processes:

• Pn Nur Faeizah binti Rohaziz, Engineer of Supply Planning for the 11kV Distribution Network Division of TNB, clarified supply applications, upgrades/downgrades, and site readiness protocols, ensuring smoother project execution for developers.
• En Mohd Hafiz bin Adnan, Team Member (Supply Offerings Support) from the Centralized Operations and COE Retail Division of TNB, shared insights on the do’s and don’ts of the supply offerings process.

The event also marked a milestone with Puan Mariati binti Che Omar, the newly appointed General Manager of TNB Melaka, delivering the opening address. REHDA Melaka extends heartfelt congratulations on her leadership role and anticipates strengthened partnerships under her guidance.  Special congratulations were also extended to Teladan Setia Sdn Bhd for being awarded TNB’s Sustainable Homes Pioneer Award (Solar Ready Innovation).
